How did you get the name Dr Flossie?
I am a academic Doctor, I hold a Doctorate degree in Education and Flossie is short for Florence and that is how I am passionately called by my family and friends.
Was there a pivotal moment in your life when you first realized you wanted to pursue music professionally?
I have always wanted to record music for public consumption as a way of ministering to people and worshiping God but finances were a constraint. In 2010 I managed to raise funds for my first recording and since then I have been recording.
What do you thing is the biggest misconception about gospel artists?

The biggest misconception is that all people who sing gospel music are saved.

They should expect to worship God more than anything else. The producer had ample time to master the music so this product is excellent.
